Bishopville Native To Run Fire Fighter Marathon

The Career Fire Fighter Paramedics Association of Ocean City, IAFF Local 4269 and the Red Knights Motorcycle Club Md. Chapter 3 are co-sponsoring Bishopville native Ashley Tartufo, who will be running on the IAFF Burn Foundation Fire Fighter Marathon Team. Tartufo, a Career Fire Fighter/Paramedic with Howard County Fire Rescue, was inspired to join the fire service by her neighbor Tom Kane, a 32-year veteran, who recently retired from the Ocean City Fire Department.
