Four local women were recently inducted into the prestigious Tiffany Circle during a Women's Summit in Washington, D.C. Lower Shore Red Cross Board members Madalaine How, Patti Miller and Alison Sappington, along with past board member Sheila Zimmer, traveled to D.C. with 350 other Tiffany Circle members from around the country. Women who demonstrate extraordinary support for the mission of the American Red Cross are chosen based on their progressive, innovative programs and financial support which allows their own Red Cross Chapter to Educate, Prepare for Disasters and Respond.
