OCEAN CITY - After weeks of little information being disclosed about the case, the county's top prosecutor will brief the media on the latest in the murder investigation on Thursday morning.
According to a press release this afternoon, 'The Office of the State's Attorney will hold a major press conference regarding the Christy Freeman murder case at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 20, 2007 at the Worcester County Government Center •€¦'
State's Attorney Joel Todd will be available to answer questions from the media at the press conference. Todd has been unwilling to comment publicly on the case since a press conference at the scene of Freeman's house on Sunset Drive in Ocean City in early August.
Freeman, 37, of Ocean City, has been held in the Worcester County Jail pending the release of a report on the four fetal remains that were found in various locations at her residence.
Freeman, the owner of a taxi business in Ocean City, has been charged with first-degree murder.
The Dispatch will have full coverage of this press conference in Friday morning's paper as well as the Friday update of its website.
