The 'fastest game on two feet' is also one of the fastest growing sports in the area with hundreds of young players participating in youth programs. Beach Lacrosse was one of the first in the area and many of its players have now moved on to play in high school and college. The program participates in the Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse Association with league play and tournaments held across the shore.
The Beach Lacrosse program is open to boys and girls of all ages in five different levels including the Scoopers (kindergarten and first grade), the under-9 Bantams, the under-11 Lightnings, the under-13 Juniors and the under-15 Seniors. Beach Lacrosse is also seeking coaches for this season. Registration information is now available on the program's website at www.beachlax.org.
