BERLIN- Stephen Decatur's varsity basketball woes continued this week with both the boys' and girls' teams adding two more losses apiece to what has become a pair of dismal seasons.
The Seahawks' boys' team fell to Parkside, 62-52, last Friday before losing to North Caroline, 63-41, on Tuesday. The pair of losses ran Decatur's losing streak to seven games, with their last win coming on January 8 against Washington. The Seahawks finish out the season with road games against Crisfield and Snow Hill before home games against Parkside and Crisfield.
Meanwhile, the Decatur girls' followed a similar pattern this week, losing to Parkside, 71-30, last Friday before falling to North Caroline, 39-22, in a low scoring game on Tuesday. The Seahawks' losing streak now stands at eight games, their last win coming on January 4 against Indian River.
