The General Levin Winder Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution honored its 2011-2012 essay winners at a luncheon at Worcester Preparatory School. The winners were, from left, Caroline Savage, Grade 7 Historic Essay winner; Sarah Savage, Grade 6 Historic Essay Winner; Devin Hammond, Grade 8 Historic Essay Winner; Dori Krasner, Grade 5 Historic Essay Winner; Lenore Huffer; Halie Murray-Davis, Grades 9-12 Christopher Columbus Essay Winner; and Pat Arata. Krasner is a student at Berlin Intermediate School, while the other winners attend Worcester Preparatory School.
