Foster Parent Appreciation Luncheon
The Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Departments of Social Services recently offered a Foster Parent Appreciation Luncheon at Chef Fred’s in Salisbury for area foster parents. Each county also recognized its Foster Parent of the Year, including Maurice and Gale Selby for Somerset County, Rick and Anne Rambo for Worcester County, and Melissa and Tom Darling for Wicomico County. Above, the Darlings are pictured. They have taken an active role in the Lower Shore Foster Parent Association, while also helping the Wicomico DSS with foster care appreciation events and educational programs for foster parents.
