Assisted by her daughter June Dashiell, Beula Twilley was an honoree at the Red Cross Fashion Emergency last Wednesday. Twilley was honored in recognition of her and her late husband's contribution to the population of returning soldiers after World War II. The Twilleys developed Princeton Homes, a neighborhood of entry level 'starter homes' in Salisbury. These affordable homes, which rented for $7 a week, offered young military families a fresh start in their own home.
