OCEAN CITY- The Maryland Saltwater Sportfishermen’s Association’s 22nd Annual Tuna-ment Tournament held last weekend in and around the resort area was a big success with dozens of big tuna caught and thousands of dollars in prize money doled out.
The MSSA held the annual tournament last weekend with three days of fishing. Captain Sam Fisher and the crew on the “Right Hook” were the big winners, taking first-place in the main tournament, the single heaviest tuna category and the three-heaviest tuna category and collected $10,854 in prize money. Ocean City Captain Tommy Baldwin and the crew on the “Lady Luck V” also enjoyed a big weekend, finishing first or second in almost every category to take home $5,213 in prize money.
