Berlin Little League

8/22/2008 | By News Editor, Shawn J. Soper

BERLIN- The Berlin Little League 9-10 All-Stars wrapped up a highly successful summer season last weekend, beating Delmar twice in a mini-tournament held at its home field complex last Sunday.

The 9-10 All-Stars collected a lot of tournament hardware this summer starting with the first-place trophy in Delmar's tournament back in July. In the tournament, Berlin's Tristan McDonough pitched a no-hitter for four innings to defeat West Salisbury in the title game. Earlier this month, the 9-10 All-Stars took second-place in tournaments in Salisbury and Fruitland before winning their own tournament last weekend.
