BERLIN- Stephen Decatur's men's varsity lacrosse team continued its winning ways last week, beating host Bennett, 13-8, on Friday to improve to 5-3 on the season including a 4-1 Bayside South record.
The Seahawks got scoring from a variety of sources against the Clippers last Friday with Calvin Snyder leading the way with five goals. Ben Kelleher added three goals while Nick Abbaticchio and Matt Doherty pitched in two apiece.
The win completed a successful week for the Seahawks, who routed Wicomico, 20-0, in the pouring rain last Wednesday. Things get a little tougher for Decatur, however. The Seahawks play league leader and unbeaten Parkside at home this afternoon, followed by another road game against Easton next Wednesday.
