BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity field hockey team lost a tough one this week, falling to Bennett, 2-1, on Monday at home to drop to 1-5 on the season.
The Seahawks fell to the Clippers in a close game on Monday, 2-1. Cassidy Remmel scored Decatur’s lone goal. The loss on Monday came on the heels of a 7-1 loss to Kent Island on the road last Wednesday. In that game, Erin Florek scored Decatur’s lone goal on an assist by Glennie Rypien. The Seahawks’ lone win thus far this year came on a 9-1 thrashing of North Dorchester back on September 14.
