BERLIN- Worcester Prep's girls' varsity lacrosse team edged old rival Saints Peter and Paul, 15-14, in a tight game at home on Tuesday.
In sharp contrast to last Friday's meeting with neighborhood rival Decatur, won by the Seahawks, 6-2, Tuesday's game with the Sabres was a high-scoring affair. Worcester's Mary Hudson led the Mallard offense with four goals and three assists, while Molly Dickerson and Polly McNab each scored three goals. Melanie Leiner came up big in goal for Worcester, recording 13 saves.
