Worcester Prep Varsity Cheerleading Team member and coach Kira Gauger, Ocean City, gathered up loads of awards at the National Cheerleaders Association Camp (NCA) held at Salisbury University. Among their awards were The Herkie TEAM Award, for the squad that exemplifies the qualities upon which NCA was founded •€' leadership, values, and teamwork; The National Championship Bid Winner, for exemplifying the best technical skill and cheerleading technique; and the Spirit Stick Winner, for the squad showing the most sincere spirit and enthusiasm as voted on by all the teams attending. Team member Jenna Hudson was named an All-American nominee who displayed strength in one of the following categories: motions, jumps, stunts, tumbling, dance or leadership.
