31st Annual Car Show, Auction In Ocean City This Weekend

OCEAN CITY – Brilliant paint, bright chrome and tricked out American street rides will be showcased in the Ocean City Convention Center at the 31st Annual Ocean City Hot Rod and Custom Car Show Feb. 12-13.

From wild customs to cool classics, extreme trick trucks to hot muscle cars, come experience the Hot Rod Show World and more.

Meet in person Stanley Livingston best known for his role as “Chip” Douglas on My Three Sons that debuted in 1960 and ran through 1972 to become the second longest running situation-comedy show on television. My Three Sons can still be seen today in syndication as generations keep rediscovering the family values that this show has to offer. Stanley will be at the event both days for meet and greets and photo opportunities.

Scheduled to display at the 31st Annual Ocean City Hot Rod & Custom Car Show are some of the top show cars in the country including the “Translam” Muscle Car of the year 69 Firebird along with other show stopping cars including the “Monster Motor” ‘41 Willys Coupe, the “Kids Stuff” ‘27 Ford Roadster, the “Street Muscle” ‘69 Camaro RS Z28, the “King of the Beach” ‘57 Chevy and so much more.

Hot rods, cruisers, street machines, pure American Muscle and more will all be part of this 31st Annual Championship auto show.

Show hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 13 at the Ocean City Convention Center on 40th Street and Coastal Highway.

In conjunction with the 31st Annual Hot Rod & Custom Car Show, there will be a Collector Car Auction. This live auction is open to everyone from buyers to sellers to spectators. The Ocean City Collector Car Auction is ideal for the grassroots collector, offering something for the hot rod hobbyist selling his muscle car, to the collector car enthusiast looking for that special unique automobile. This is a great place to sell your collector car or purchase a new one.

For the spectator, it will be exciting to see the level of anticipation that develops between the auctioneer, sellers and buyers. Some of the vehicles scheduled to go up for auction include a 2000 Corvette C5 Chip Foose built car for Monster Energy Drink, a 1963 Ford Econoline van complete with disco ball and shag carpet, a supercharged 1981 Porsche, a 1967 Ford S600 tow truck, a 25th Anniversary 1979 Trans Am, a 1967 Camaro RS/SS, a 1987 Mercedes 560 SL Convertible and much more.
