OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s boys’ winter basketball lead continued this week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following is a look at some of this week’s action:
(bullet) O.C. Rec Boosters 25- O.C.-Berlin Optimists 18: Avery McCormick led the Boosters with 11 points while Kodie Johnson scored 12 for the Optimists in the loss.
(bullet) OC-Berlin Optimists 67- FOP 58: Zach Cordrey went off for 37 points to lead the Optimists over the FOP. James Furst had a big game for the FOP in the loss, scoring 26 points.
(bullet) Berlin Optimists 40- OC Elks Lodge 26: Michael Barnes scored 18 points for the Optimists, while Max Spicer pitched in 10 and Jhymir Blake added six. Mitchell McGee scored 22 of his team’s 26 points in the loss.
(bullet) Berlin Supply 45- Rox Weddings 40: Thomas Dibuo scored a game-high 24 points to lead Berlin Supply, while Cedric Pabich and Jeff Dennis scored six each. Ahmad Hammad led Rox with 13 points, while Jakeem Jordan and Matt Kinsey scored eight apiece.
