BERLIN- The new Coastal Lacrosse Club began its inaugural season last weekend with a full slate of games at the Northern Worcester Athletic Complex in Berlin.
The Coastal Lacrosse Club formed earlier this year with the goal of offering another option for young players in the ever-growing field of youth lacrosse programs in the area. Coastal Lacrosse is a member of the Delaware Youth Lacrosse Foundation, a regional chapter of U.S. Lacrosse, and it offers league opportunities for boys and girls ages 7-14 as well as training programs for boys and girls in pre-K to second-grade. The program currently has around 135 members.
Last week, Coastal Lacrosse opened its very first season with league action against a team from Middletown, Del.
