BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team turned in a dominating performance on the road on Wednesday, beating host Cambridge-South Dorchester, 18-0, in the season opener.
The Seahawks jumped all over the Vikings early and often on the way to the 18-0 romp. Erin Florek led the assault with four goals and two assists, while Layla Fowler, Eileen Hayman, Kayla Terlizzi and Ashley Trice each scored two goals. The Decatur girls face Parkside this afternoon.
