Students in Travis Lloyd's fifth grade class at Berlin Intermediate School had a fascinating science lab with Jen Pettolina and Diana Jolley. In their force and motion unit, students were exploring how the mass of an object and the size of the force, acting as the object, can affect the object's motion. Using these balloon rockets, students used measurements in centimeters, speed in seconds to calculate the force. Here with Jolley are Deja Kellem, Tristen McDonough, Cade Solito and Andrew Burke.
