Berlin Intermediate School
Students in Mrs. Gwin's fifth grade enrichment class at Berlin Intemediate School recently completed a unit on music and poetry. Students analyzed lyrics from artists such as Jack Johnson, The Beatles, Smash Mouth and Five for Fighting and located elements of poetry such as similes, metaphors, imagery and alliteration. Students then composed their own poems and chose background music.
