BERLIN- The Mid-Atlantic Shockers Baseball Club will hold a second round of tryouts in the area this weekend at Berlin and at Georgetown in Delaware.
The Mid-Atlantic Shockers youth baseball program fields teams of local players from under age nine to under age 15 that compete in area and regional tournaments. The program is led by a handful of local coaches who teach the fundamentals of the game and prepare young players to compete at the next level of their development. The Shockers held some tryouts in the area last weekend are following up with a second-round of tryouts this weekend.
Registration for the 13-under and 15-under teams will be held at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Berlin Little League Park with tryouts to follow at 10 a.m. Registration for the 9-under-12-under teams will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the Berlin Little League Park with tryouts for those teams scheduled from 1-3 p.m. A similar schedule will be held on Sunday at the Sports at the Beach Complex in Georgetown, Del.
