Some of the members of Troop 225 had the opportunity to participate in the Boy Scouts of America's premier high-adventure activities at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. The ranch encompasses 215 square miles. The boys and their leaders from the Ocean City Troop backpacked for seven days through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
