Kaylyn Cobb, kindergartener from Mrs. Fell's class delivers a grocery cart full of books to the Media Center at Showell Elementary. Showell's Media Center is a busy place. Each child visits there each week. They check out 3 books each. Students keep monthly reading logs to account for minutes read each night. Mrs. Fell's class read a total of 9,785 minutes in the month of February. Showell's mantra is 'a book in every book bag' each night to read for pleasure. Kaylyn has a close association with books as her grandmom is Buckingham Elementary's media specialist, Debbie Wooten.
