The first leg of the challenge, played last Thursday at the Ocean City Golf Club, was a two-person scramble with Decatur winning three of the four matches. Decatur’s Joe Iacona and Chase Eslin defeated Worcester’s Patrick Dowling and Derek Wilgus, 3-2; Seahawks Nikki Rafer and Audrey Affelder beat Worcester’s Scott Gee and Rylie Doyle, 3-1; and Decatur’s Andrew Urban and Matt Ruggiere defeated Billy Brittingham and Jim Engel, 3-1. In Worcester’s win, Matt Middleton and Josh Moyer defeated Decatur’s Delaney Iacona and Chris Barschow.
