Local Riders Enjoy Good Start

Autumn Grove Stables in Berlin kicked off its 2008 show season at the first Chesapeake Bay Horse Show Association (CBHSA) event on April 12 and returned with more than its share of awards and ribbons.

Isabell Golden of Berlin and her pony Moose earned a two firsts and a fourth in Walk Trot Equitation making them champions of the division. Paige Kreppel of Berlin and her pony Abby earned a first and two fourths in the Mini-Stirrup Equitation, while Maddie Farlow and her pony Tommy Bahama earned championships in both the CBHSA Horse and Pony and the Novice Equitation.

Allie Ewing and her pony Occasional Flurries earned a third, a fourth and a fifth in Novice Equitation. Georgia Parolski of South Point and her pony Sunny were named champions of the Pleasure Pony division, while Lindsey Gilbert and her pony Red Rover were the Reserved Champions of Junior Equitation.
