Stephen Decatur High School junior Tracy Morey, above reciting Claude McKay's poem 'Romance', won first place in the Poetry Out Loud Contest, a national, oral recitation poetry contest sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Poetry Foundation and the State Arts Agencies. Second place winner for SDHS was Katie Atwood who will compete, along with Morey, against Worcester Prep's first and second place winners. The third place winner from SDHS was Laura Prengaman.
