Larry Whitlock Partnership Announced

5/18/2007 | By The Dispatch Staff

BERLIN - Daft-McCune-Walker, Inc. (DMV), a
multidisciplinary land development consulting firm, announced this week that it
has joined forces with Berlin-based Lawrence T. Whitlock & Associates,
Inc., to open a new office on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The two companies will
integrate their respective strengths to provide clients with access to a
broader range of land development services. A local presence on the Eastern
Shore also positions DMW to better service its strong portfolio of clients in
this region.

"It was a logical move to unite DMW's strengths and
resources with those of Whitlock & Associates," said Tom Repsher,
president and CEO of DMW. "Both our existing and new clients will benefit
greatly from the combined dedication of our service-driven teams and the new
availability of complementary services."

DMW's new 3,000-square-foot office, which opened May 10,
is located in The Pavilions in Ocean Pines. Led by Larry Whitlock, the new
branch provides a comprehensive list of land development consultation services.
Prior to joining with DMW, Whitlock specialized primarily in land planning,
landscape architecture and environmental services. Now, Whitlock's clients will
have full access to DMW's offerings, including land planning, landscape
architecture, civil engineering, professional surveying and environmental services.

"As part of DMW, I'll have the support of a strong
bench of talent, skills and resources, as well as the opportunity to provide
more fully integrated services and greater overall value to clients," said

Whitlock, vice president and branch manager.

This venture is also the story of a partnership reunited.
DMW CEO Tom Repsher and Whitlock originally worked together in a joint business
enterprise more than 30 years ago. In addition, DMW Managing Director Dane
Bauer has also worked with Whitlock on numerous projects over the years,
including Sunset Island in Ocean City, Pennington Commons in Ocean Pines and
Jersey Island multi-family community in Crisfield, Md.

"We are committed to providing consistent, strategic
and timely service tailored to each of our clients' needs, and the Eastern
Shore office will be no different," said Dane Bauer, managing director and
senior vice president of DMW. "We've assembled a strong core team that
will draw on the proximity of our local clients and the vast experience of its
new vice president and branch manager, Larry Whitlock, to provide clients with
an exceptional service experience every time-we have the people on board that
can really make a difference."

DMW is currently involved with several projects on the
Eastern Shore, including Summerfield at Snow Hill and River Run in Berlin, Md.
DMW's other contributions, which can be seen throughout the state, include work
in commercial, industrial, institutional and residential markets.

With
the addition of Larry Whitlock and his team, DMW currently has 85 employees
across its three offices
