12/26/2008 | By The Dispatch Staff

Showell Elementary School Principal Paula Q. Jones, left, and Sandy Coates West, right, Curriculum Resource Planner, are shown receiving a $300 donation from Republican Women for Worcester County Caring for America/Literacy Chair Lou Etta McClaflin for the school's "Paper Back Book Library Project". The RWWC started the project, which allows each student to freely choose a book to share with other family members. The club also donated an American flag that had been flown over the Capitol in Washington D.C.
