WEST OCEAN CITY- Young wrestlers from the Eastern Shore Intensive Wrestling Club, based in West Ocean City, continued to turn in strong performances in recent state and regional matches including a state title in an intermediate level event and several top finishes in an event in Delaware last weekend.

The Eastern Shore Intensive Wrestling Club, under the direction of Coach Keith Tobin and his staff, provides young grapplers in the area with training and mentoring all year around in an effort to provide them with a foundation for future success. Throughout the year, the club’s wrestlers travel all over the Eastern Shore and beyond to compete in various tournaments and state competitions.

At the Maryland State Wrestling Association (MSWA) Intermediate Level Kids Tournament on February 24, Noah Reho placed first in his age and weight class and brought home the championship trophy. At the 36th Annual Rough Rodney Tournament in Camden, Del. last weekend, several ESIWC wrestlers placed in their respective age and weight classes. Jagger Clapsadle was first in the junior division (11-12), while Cory Lawson was second in the junior high division (13-15).

Five ESIWC wrestlers finished third in their divisions at the Rough Rodney Tournament including Anthony Caruso (junior division, 11-12), Alex Koulikov (bantam division, 7-8), Hunter Hineline (junior high, 13-15), Cole Hineline (senior high, 16-19) and Brock Maloomian (junior high, 13-15). Noah Reho finished fourth in the midget division (9-10) at the Rough Rodney tournament.
