BERLIN- Continuing a season-long pattern, Stephen Decatur's girls' varsity swimming team beat Seaford, 106-64, on Tuesday while the boys' team fell, 105-65.
The Decatur girls' team got key wins in several events to rout Seaford on Tuesday. Catelin Geiser won the 200-meter individual medley and the 100-meter freestyle, while Taylor Blazer also won two events, the 50-meter freestyle and the 100-meter backstroke. Three Seahawks won single events including Brianna Carroll, 200-meter freestyle; Katie Hansen, 500-meter freestyle; and Ali McLoota, 100-meter breaststroke.
For the boys team, Jake Blazer won both the 200-meter and 500-meter freestyle events, while Austin Deppe won the 100-meter freestyle and Garrett Neville won the 100-meter breaststroke.
