BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s boys’ basketball team beat Gunston, 58-51, last Friday to improve to 7-6 on the season.
The Mallards have played their usual on again, off again season with games sprinkled between the holidays and winter break. Worcester, which lost to Delmar, 60-32, last Wednesday before rebounding with a 58-51 win over Gunston last Friday, is now 7-6 overall on the season but won’t play again until a February 7 home game against Chincoteague on Senior Night.
Meanwhile, the Worcester girls swept two from Gunston in the last two weeks and are now 4-9 on the season. The Mallard girls will also face Chincoteague on February 7 for Senior Night.
