The members of Community Church at Ocean Pines are making Christmas a little happier for area families by working with Worcester G.O.L.D. and the Angel Tree program. Over 200 paper angels were placed on a Christmas tree in the church narthex. Each contained information about a person such as their age, sizes and an item from their Christmas wish list. Congregation members took an angel, purchased a gift for the person described and then returned the wrapped gift to the church. Marjorie Mause, above, and her committee are busy sorting the gifts by family and preparing to distribute them.
