BERLIN- The Berlin Little League major league division
All-Star team came up with a couple of big wins this week to advance in the
District 8 playoffs.
Last Sunday, the Berlin Little League major league team
beat Pocomoke, 10-1, behind winning pitcher Austin Dundore. Sean Colgan had a
triple and single and scored three runs, while Gus Esham and Dundore each drove
in runs. Zach Adams contributed in the win over Pocomoke with a single and
triple.
Tuesday, Berlin followed up the big win over Pocomoke with a 16-0 shellacking
of Princess Anne. Ryan Bennett was the winning pitcher and also hit a two-run
homer. Sean Colgan hit a three-run homer, while Conner Woodland went 3-3 at the
plate and Dundore had two hits including a single and a double.
