Sponsored by the General Levin Winder Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Snow Hill Middle School student Claire Klingenberg won first place for her short story/essay at the Grade 7 level in a statewide Junior American Citizens creative expression contest. Pictured with Committee Chairman Judy Reeser, Klingenberg received her award during a luncheon at the 103rd Maryland State DAR Conference, where it was announced she also won second place in the Eastern Division competition.
