The Ocean City Raven's Roost awarded two of its 2007 Scholar/Athlete Scholarships to Worcester Prep students Brian Carey, left, Seaford, and Travis Gregory, Bishopville. Students at Stephen Decatur, Indian River and Worcester were eligible to submit applications for this $1,500 scholarship if they had a GPA of above 3.0, provided a letter from their varsity coach, submitted an official transcript, and completed a detailed application. Applicants were required to write an essay about how athletics are important in today's American society.
