Ocean Pines Department of Recreation and Parks Director Sonya Bounds was the guest speaker at the Kiwanis Club's weekly meeting in the Ocean Pines Community Center. The club donated $500 to her department for scholarships that can be offered to children to attend the department's programs, including the summer camp. Bounds is pictured accepting that check from Kiwanis Club President Barbara Peletier and another check for $350 in support of the Summer Concerts in the Park.
