BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s boys’ varsity basketball team thrashed Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference (ESIAC) rival Gunston, 77-44, last week to improve to 15-1 on the season.
The Mallards jumped all over the Herons in their penultimate game of what has been a special season. Zander Farr led Worcester with 23 points, while Harrison Brennan scored 20 and Matt Reilly added 13. With the win, the Mallards improved to 15-1 on the season, their only loss coming to Salisbury School back on January 18. Worcester will have one final regular season tune-up this afternoon against Delmarva Christian on the road and the ESIAC playoffs are set to get underway next week.
