OCEAN CITY- Much is typically made of Mother's Day, as it should be, but fathers rarely get the same attention when their special day rolls around each year. However, Mrs. Kirsten Danisavich's fourth-grade class at Ocean City Elementary took the time this year to honor their dads with special Father's Day poems. Several Worcester Prep students were recently honored at the Maryland Humanities Council and Library of Congress Letters About Literature awards ceremony. To enter the competition, the students wrote to their fa-vorite authors and explained why they liked their books. The winners were selected out of 56,000 entries nationwide.
