OCEAN CITY - Resort police last month made a pair of prostitution arrests in Ocean City after discovering several listings by woman offering erotic services in the area on the Internet.
Early last month, resort police received several calls about prostitution occurring in Ocean City after which an OCPD undercover officer discovered prostitution advertising on the Internet. On the websites, the working girls offered to meet interested parties in Ocean City for erotic services at a price.

OCEAN CITY - Local business owners, citizens, and interested parties gathered on Saturday morning for the Stop Slots Rally in Ocean City an effort to send the clear message that many people of Ocean City do not want slots infiltrating the resort town.

OCEAN CITY - Confusion surrounding an ordinance outlining height limitations in the downtown area arose this week, resulting in the 5-1 decision to table the ordinance for the time being.
The Mayor and Council was presented with the second reading of the ordinance to amend chapter 11, entitled Zoning, at Monday night's meeting, but found just cause to table the ordinance after hearing complaints from a downtown property owner.
