Stephen Decatur High School's Connections Club has established a Junior Red Cross Club named Decatur Lifesavers. The club directors are Alison Sappington and Patti Miller, board members of the Lower Shore Red Cross and parents of kids at Decatur. Berlin Intermediate School recently held an "All about Attitude - Good Sports Day." Students and staff showed off their good sport/good character by dressing up in their favorite sports gear. Berlin Intermediate School students from the sixth grade recently visited Buckingham Graveyard and St. Paul's Episcopal Graveyard in Berlin. Students read the novel, 'Wait till Helen Comes,' a ghost story, and then visited the graveyards to make rubbings of interesting gravestones. Worcester Preparatory School classes of 2007 and 2008 were honored recently with a total of 37 AP Scholar Awards with three students from the Class of 2007, who are now in college receiving National Scholar recognition. Worcester Prep's golf team recently captured the ESIAC championship and the conference title. Christina Vosters was the winner of the conference golf tournament with a score of 40 for nine holes. She was also named Conference Player of the Year. Ty Mayers was named to the All-Conference Team.
