BERLIN- Worcester Prep's Chase Humphrey this week signed a national letter of intent to attend school and play soccer next year at the NCAA Division I University of Denver.
Humphrey, captain of this year's Mallard team and a four-year starter, led Worcester to a near-perfect 12-1 record last fall including 11 straight wins to close out the season. BERLIN- The Beach Lacrosse program is currently seeking interested boys and girls players in grades K-8 for the upcoming season with online registration now available on the program's recently updated website.

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur's varsity basketball woes continued this week with both the boys' and girls' teams adding two more losses apiece to what has become a pair of dismal seasons.
The Seahawks' boys' team fell to Parkside, 62-52, last Friday before losing to North Caroline, 63-41, on Tuesday.
