226-Pound Beauty Takes Mako Mania's Top Prize

OCEAN CITY - More than $75,000 was awarded in last week's 12th Annual Mako Mania shark tournament held at the Bahia Marina with the 'Press Time' hooking the top prize. Forty-four boats dropped lines in this tournament. Last year there were 41 vessels. Over the three days of fishing, 18 mako shark were hooked. Additionally, two thresher and 16 bluefish were caught. OCEAN CITY - The 28th Annual Ocean City Shark Tournament got underway yesterday with the first of four official fishing days, and with the action off the coast suddenly heating up, it could be one to remember. Decatur's Hudson Named Bayside's Top Player

BERLIN - Several Stephen Decatur varsity baseball players were honored last week as Bayside South All-Stars including senior standout Brian Hudson, who was named the conference player of the year. Hudson was the anchor of the Seahawk infield for the last few years at third base and a powerful force in the middle of the line-up at the clean-up position.
