Berlin Intermediate students in Madame Peers Introductory French class connected with the visual arts when decorating their foreign language folders. Students used the technique of crayon resist to place French phrases on their folders. Students in fifth and sixth grades are introduced to both French and Spanish on a rotating yearly basis. Cedar Chapel Special School held its annual Back To School Barbeque earlier this month. This event is held each year to welcome students and parents back to a new school year. In addition to a barbeque picnic, parents are given the opportunity to meet their child's teacher and sit in on informative presentations such as the work experience program and facilitating communication devices.
