BERLIN- Maryland's traditional two-week firearm deer season opens tomorrow across the state, including Worcester County, with a total harvest over the next two weeks expected to approach 45,000.

OCEAN CITY- There's a new champion in the Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department's Fall Flag Football League after Schell Brothers knocked off Buxy's, 38-20, in the championship game last Monday, ending the Salty Dog's four-year hold on the title.

BERLIN- With a roster top heavy with seniors, the sky's the limit for Worcester Prep's girls' varsity basketball team this year.
The Mallards will certainly be experienced as they hit the floor for the 2008-2009 season with seven seniors on the 11-player roster.
