The Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City held its Winter Pancake Breakfast at the Community Church of Ocean Pines on Saturday, March 7. Not only did the public turn out, but the local school Kiwanis affiliated clubs pitched in to help. Pictured, from left, are Montajha Bowen, Paige Getchell, Tabitha Edwards, and Zoie Williams, four members from the Buckingham Elementary School K-Kids Club, and Kathrine Bakke and Natalie Cieri, two members from the Stephen Decatur High School Key Club. Not pictured are Key Club members Taylor Tobak and Rachel Slotter. All the students helped wait on tables and clean up at the breakfast, earning them service hours and great appreciation and gratitude from the parent Kiwanis club. Proceeds from the Pancake Breakfast go to the Scholarship Foundation of the local club.
