On Tuesday, Sept. 1, the County Commissioners and Volunteer Services Manager Cyndy Howell met with Heather Gates of Women Supporting Women, Alice Tweedy of Coastal Hospice, Regina P. Jones-Brake of Assateague National Park, Brigitte Saulsbury and Brooke Gemberling of Court Appointed Special Attorneys (CASA), and Martha Moskowitz of Habitat for Humanity after presenting them with a proclamation recognizing Sept. 11 as the National Day of Service and Remembrance.
