Clifford, the Big Red Dog, visited students at the Showell Elementary Book Fair last Wednesday. Pictured are kindergartener Abby Yeager and third grade sister, Isabella Yeager. Students raised $2,207 by collecting coins in each classroom during the book fair. This money will be used to buy books for Showell Elementary.

Students in Linda Brown's second grade at Ocean City Elementary recently celebrated harvest Hoedown Day. Worcester Prep alumnus Michael Potter '99, right, a Delaware River Pilot and graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, visited his Alma Mater to talk with junior Ben Mumford, who is interested in pursuing a career in marine service. Potter talked to Mumford about the education needed to become a bay and river pilot and of his experiences in maritime school and as a river pilot.
