OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department's winter youth basketball league continued last week with a full slate of games at Northside Park despite near constant interruptions caused by the weather. The following is a quick look at some of last week's action: Ocean City-Berlin Optimists 17- Fager's Island 14: Matthew Kinsey scored all 17 of his team's points in the winning effort. OC Elementary Participates in Jump Rope For Heart

Ocean City Elementary School recently held its annual Jump Rope for Heart to benefit the American Heart Association.  Over 275 students participated in the event and raised approximately $11,000. The students, faculty/staff, and parents all worked hard to achieve their goal of $10,000. Each student was asked to receive sponsors in the weeks that preceded the Jump.
