CITY - John Tilghman, 82, of Ocean City, died Friday, June 11, 2010 at Atlantic

HILL - Theodore "Ted" Wendell Gray, 77, died Wednesday, June
16, 2010 at his home in Snow Hill.
Elliotts Island, Md., he was the son of the late Lawrence Wendell Gray and
Violet Paulos Gray. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ethel Palmer Gray.
Gray had worked for 25 years at Harges Exxon Service Center, Joe Killmon Citgo
and C.B.Cody Citgo. He had also worked for the Worcester County Roads
Department retiring in 1998. He attended the Church of Christ in Snow Hill.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a son, Theodore W. Gray, Jr. and his
wife Lynda of Snow Hill; a daughter, Ellen Foxwell of Girdletree; three
grandchildren, David Gray, Eddie Tyndall and Lynn Tyndall; five great
grandchildren, Ashley King, Andrew Tyndall, Cameron Blake, Curtis Blake and
Ciara Blake; a brother, John Lee Gray of Cambridge; a sister, Mary Ellen Waller
and her husband Waner of Laurel, Del.; and several nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by a brother, Lawrence Wendell Gray, Jr., and two sisters, Mildred
Sheats and Idelia Staker.

HILL - Jennie Sheeler Taylor, age 90, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at
Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William and Katie Good Sheeler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald Taylor.
Taylor had worked in food service with the school system. She was a member of
Snow Hill Mennonite Church. She enjoyed playing cards, Dominoes, canning and
homemaking. She was a dedicated caregiver to many.
She is survived by a son, John S. Taylor and his wife Joyce; a step son,
Franklin Taylor; a brother, James Sheeler and his wife Ruth; three
grandchildren, John Taylor, Jr. and his wife Crystal, Jamie Taylor East and her
husband Chris and Jenna Elliott and her husband Justin; one great grandchild,
Landon Taylor; and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Sheeler and four sisters, Anna
Rohr, Katherine Green, Miriam Otes and Lois Mack.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 11 a.m.
at Snow Hill Mennonite Church. Pastor James Kurtz will officiate. Friends may
call one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bates Cemetery.
