The Ocean City/Berlin Optimist Club announced the winners of its annual oratorical contest. Rich Caproni, chairman, announced that Keegan Pando and Amanda Gabriel from Worcester Prep won the boys and girls contest respectively. The two local winners will speak in the Maryland/South Delaware finals to be held in Ocean City on April 30. Stephen Decatur High School held its annual Shakespeare Festival on April 14 sponsored by the English Honor Society members. The day featured numerous events including a jousting competition, costume contests, magic tricks, a life-sized board game, jester performances and pie eating.
